The Samui Summer Jazz Festival is set to take center stage this year from September 13 to 15, 2024, offering a thrilling weekend of music on the beautiful island of Koh Samui. With a lineup of internationally acclaimed jazz artists, the festival will take place at some of the island’s most exclusive venues, including Six Senses Samui, Sala Chaweng, and Kimpton Kitalay. As the island prepares to welcome visitors for this celebration of jazz, attendees can expect an immersive musical experience in a tropical paradise.

The “Music in Schools” initiative aims to bring music education to local children, enhancing their creative growth and enriching the island’s community. Later that evening, the mood shifts to Blues and Soul, headlined by the talented saxophonist Koh Mr. Saxman and trumpeter Charlie Philips, who will bring a rich blend of blues and soul to the night. These performances will take audiences on a musical journey, showcasing the diversity of jazz.

The grand finale will take place on Sunday, September 15, at Kimpton Kitalay, with a Grand Finale Brunch featuring Swinging Jazz Classics. This daytime performance will feature a star-studded lineup including Alexander Beets, Charlie Philips, and Fabio Lannino on bass, delivering timeless jazz tunes in a relaxed yet elegant setting by the beach. This brunch concert promises to be the perfect closing act for the festival, blending exquisite music with a luxurious dining experience.
